Alexandre Gama is a Brazilian advertiser who’s realized a long and distinguished career that is notable for a lengthy list of accomplishments and awards all of which serve to make him one of the most important cultural voices of his generation. His advertising skills are remarkable as evidenced by his many roles within the industry. He has founded his own powerhouse agency known as Neogama and also became the first Brazilian to lead the noted worldwide network called BBH.
The education of Alexandre Gama was completed at the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation where he received a degree in Advertising and Communications. He served for several years as a copywriter with Standard Ogilvy & Mather where he cut his teeth in the trade which prepared him for his meteoric rise to come later.
His career took off during his tenure with DM9 where he worked as a copywriter and Creative Director. His campaigns took center stage at the agency and he became the most awarded copywriter of his generation during this era of his career.
The capstone of Alexandre Gama’s career was perhaps the founding of his own agency called Neogama. It remains a prime player in Brazilian advertising to this day and has achieved numerous awards including several prestigious Lions Awards from the Cannes Festival.
