If you’re unfamiliar with Dr. Sameer Jejurikar, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon, as well as a member of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, and recipient of the Compassionate Doctor Certification. In fact, Dr. Sameer Jejurikar was one of only 3% of US-based physicians to receive the prestigious award, which is given to physicians that meet or exceed patient expectations, with respect to bedside manner and overall care. Dr. Jejurikar attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences in 1993, before going on to earn an M.D. Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, in 1997. After completing his formal education, Dr. Jejurikar completed an 8-year long residency with the University of Michigan and a one-year Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at the famed Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital.
Prior to his role with the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, Dr. Jejurikar served as Senior Staff Surgeon of Plastic Surgery with Scott and White, the largest multi-specialty cosmetic surgery practice in Texas. His role with Scott and White, along with his education, residency, and fellowship, have more than prepared Dr. Jejurikar to succeed in the cosmetic surgery industry. In fact, he has received several national presentations and has had a number of his written works published in well-known publications, like the Journal of Surgical Research, Annals of Plastic Surgery, and several others.
Although Dr. Jejurikar is highly trained in all aspects of plastic surgery, his focus revolves primarily around cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, eyes, breast, as well as body sculpting. Dr. Jejurikar acknowledges that many of the procedures that he performs are routine, however, he still manages to provide each patient with a unique experience, which is characterized by his caring persona, a passion for his profession, and most importantly, his attention to detail.
